Bedrosian was a pretty good reliever for the Braves during his first three seasons (19 saves in 1983) before being unsuccessfully transitioned into a starting role in 1985. His 7-15 record of that season led to his trade to the Phillies, where he won a Cy Young Award in 1987. He finished his career for the Braves in 1995.
