FAVORITE BRAVES PLAYERS OF THE 1980'S
#78 RICK MATULA
ATLANTA BRAVES 1979-1981
When you make a complete list of players who played in two decades, you'll come across players like Rick "The Sheik" Matula who played briefly, but technically did play in two decades. Matula's one "80's" season was 1980, when he won 11 games. His best win of that season is easy. The Braves lost their first seven games of that season, when Matula got the call on April 18th. Rick went on to shutout the Reds for the Braves first win of that season.
