#81 JEFF BURROUGHS

FAVORITE BRAVES PLAYERS OF THE 1980'S
#81 JEFF BURROUGHS
ATLANTA BRAVES 1977-1980

How the mighty can fall. After Jeff's monster season in 1977, he really seemed like the face and future of the team. But by 1980, Jeff's star had fallen and he was in his last year with the Braves. He started out that season strongly with two three hit games in a row in April, but by the end of the year, he had become a bench  player and was traded to Seattle in 1981.

But we'll always have 1977.
