Ah, where do you put Bruce Benedict on a list like this. If this were an 80's list of favorite Braves players, he'd be in the top ten without question. But if we are only dealing with the years 1978 and 1979, we are only talking about 98 games. I figure sticking him in the middle of this list is the best option. He did have back to back rookie cards in the 70's. I like the fact that in 1979 he was just a "prospect" but in 1980, his 46 hit,.225 batting average season had apparently catapulted him into the category of "future star."
