#20 ED GOODSON
ATLANTA BRAVES 1975

I remember Ed Goodson as mostly a pinch hitter and sometime starter for the San Francisco Giants during the early 70's. He was traded to the Braves in 1975 for Craig Robinson, which probably won't make anyones list under the heading of "biggest baseball trades of the 1970's." Ed only hit .211 during his 76 at-bat Brave career. He did manage one home run off of Gary Nolan of the Reds on September 26, 1975. He finished his career with the Dodgers and even had an at-bat in the 1977 World Series.
