#18 GARY GENTRY
ATLANTA BRAVES 1973-1975

Gary Gentry came over to the Braves from the Mets in the ill-advised Felix Millan trade in 1972. Gary's first game for the Braves was a nice complete game victory over San Diego on April 11, 1973, but he won only three more games games as a starter that year and was never really effective after that. If the Mets had only sent Nolan Ryan to the Braves instead of Gary Gentry...I wonder. Gary did appear to have very thick, lustrous hair in the picture above for what it's worth.
