FAVORITE BRAVES PLAYERS OF THE 1980'S
#42 BILL NAHORODNY
ATLANTA BRAVES 1980-1981
Bill's 1980 O-pee-chee card seems to be suffering from a team identity crisis. |
First of all, Bill Nahorodny is second only to Biff Pocoroba in career best name for an Atlanta Brave catcher.
The only significant playing time Bill ever had for the Braves was 59 games in 1980. He hit 5 homers that season and hit .242.
Career Brave highlight? June 28, 1980. Bill hits a two-run homer off Bob Shirley with two outs in the ninth to give the Braves a 5-4 win over the Padres. Way to go, Bill!
